Rule-1:
(i) প্রদত্ত Sentence এর Subject ও Verb বসে +
(ii) the উঠে যায় +
(iii) Superlative এর Comparative form বসে + (iv) than any other বসে +
(v) প্রদত্ত Sentence- এর বাকি অংশ বসে।
→ of all থাকলে সেক্ষেত্রে of all এর জায়গায় than all other বসে।
Structure:- Subject +Verb + Superlative Degree Comparative form + than any other + Sentence এর বাকী অংশ ।
Examples:
Superlative: He is the oldest man in the village.
Comparative: He is older than any other man in the village.
Superlative: Chittagong is the biggest port in Bangladesh.
Comparative: Chittagong is bigger than any other port in Bangladesh.
Superlative: Maradona is the best footballer we have ever seen.
Comparative: Maradona is better than any other footballer we have ever seen.
Superlative: Akbar was the greatest of all kings in India.
Comparative: Akbar was greater than all other kings in India.
Rule-2: One of the Superlative Degree Comparative Degree তে রূপান্তরিত করার নিয়ম :
Structure: Subject + Verb + one of the উঠে যায় এবং Superlative Degree- এর Comparative form + than + most other প্রদত্ত Sentence- এর বাকি অংশ।
Examples:
Superlative: Fahim is one of the tallest boys in the class.
Comparative: Fahim is taller than most other boys in class.
Superlative: Saudi Arabia is one of the hottest countries in the world.
Comparative: Saudi Arabia is hotter than most other countries in the world.
Superlative: Runa is one of the prettiest girls in the class.
Comparative: Runa is prettier than most other girls in the class.
