Difference among
Students
Student's and
Students'.
এই ৩ টি word কখনো-কখনো Confused হয়ে যায়। বিশেষ করে বানানের ক্ষেত্রেই Confusion -টির হয়ে থাকে। সুতরাং, ভালভাবে লক্ষ্য করুন।
♦ প্রথমটির অর্থ “ ছাত্রছাত্রীরা”। এটা বাক্যে Subject & Object হতে পারে ।
উদাহরণঃ
As subject:
✪ Students must be polite and modest in nature.
✪ Students are the future hope of a nation.
♦ As Object:
✪ I've got two bright students, but the rest are average.
✪ I like the students who read attentively & prepare lessons regularly.
♦ দ্বিতীয়টির অর্থ “ একজন ছাত্রের বা ছাত্রীর ।
উদাহরণঃ
✪ The student’s essays were impressive. (THE ESSAYS OF ONE STUDENT.)
✪ The new student's name is Mary.
✪ A student's father has come.
♦ এর আরেকটি অর্থ হলোঃ “ একের অধিক ছাত্রের বা ছাত্রীর।
উদাহরণঃ
✪ The students’ essays were impressive. (THE ESSAYS OF MORE THAN ONE STUDENT.)
✪ Some students' bags are missing.
টিক একইভাবে,
patient’s এবং patients, Boy's এবং Boys' , Workers এবং Workers' এদের মধ্যে পার্থক্য বিদ্যমান।।

✪ Student's - something belonging to a single student.
✪ Students' - something belonging to multiple students.
