ব্যাখ্যাঃ কখনো কখনো #But, Adjective Clause- এ (relative pronoun) হিসেবে কাজ করে। এরুপ ক্ষেত্রে But, who does not/ who do not এর পরিবর্তে বসে।
But (as a relative pronoun)
There is no mother but loves her child. (but- relative pronoun)
but = who does not. Here "But" meaning 'who does not/ who do not' is a relative pronoun.

ব্যাখ্যাঃ এখানে but = who doesn't.
But থাকলেই সবসময় Compound Sentence হয় না। Compound Sentence হওয়ার অন্যতম শর্ত হলো কমপক্ষে দুটি স্বাধীন বাক্যাংশ থাকা। যখন "but" অর্থ " who does not/ who do not " হয় তখন তা complex Sentence.

এখানে এর উত্তর হবে won't he? কিন্তু আমরা জানি compound sentence এর শেষের clause ধরে tag question করতে হয় সেই হিসেবে এর tag question হবে won't I?

ব্যাখ্যাঃ As well as. with, Along with, Together with , Accompanied by, , Including, Excluding, Except, In addition to ইত্যাদির পর যে Noun / Pronoun বসে তা অনুসারে কখনো Tag Question হয়না । এক্ষেত্রে সব সময় এদের পূর্বের Noun / Pronoun অনুসারে এর Pronoun হয়।
যেমনঃ
(1) He as well as his friends did it, didn't he ?
(2) I together with my relatives visited London, didn't I ?
(3) Rana excluding you will be punished, won't he?
