We must always speak the truth.. Sometimes truth may bring on loss and physical sufferings. But we must bear in mind that truth triumphs in the end. A truthful man has a clear conscience and does not fear anybody. He knows that he is right, and this gives him strength to overcome his difficulties. Even his enemies respect him and this respect is valuable. A liar, on the other hand, loses the trust and respect of those very persons for whom he tells a lie. They feel that one who has lied for them may also lie against them. Thus he lowers himself not only in his own judgement but also in the eyes of his friends. How miserable such a life is ! So we must always stick to the truth.
