Nearly Homonymous Writings
ইংরেজী সাহিত্যে ভালো করতে আপনার জানা জরুরীঃ

1. "Rainbow" নামে বিখ্যাত কবিতা লিখেছেন কবি William Wordsworth আবার অপরদিকে একই নামে মানে "Rainbow" নামে উপন্যাস লিখেছেন D.H.Lawrence. যার পূর্ণ নাম David Herbert Lawrence .
2.. "Ulysses" হচ্ছে Alfred Lord Tennyson এর একটি কবিতা। অপরদিকে James Joyce, Ulysses নামে একটি novel লিখেছেন।
3. "The Garden Party" হলো Katherine Mansfield রচিত বিখ্যাত ছোটগল্প আর প্রায়ই কাছাকাছি নামে অর্থাৎ "The Birthday Party" নাটক লিখেছেন Harold Pinter.
4. ”Hamlet” যেখানে শেক্সপিয়রের বিখ্যাত ট্র্যাজেডি সেখানে ”The Green Helmet” নামে W.B Yeats এর একটি poetry আছে।
5. ”Daffodils” হচ্ছে William Wordsworth এর কবিতা আবার ঠিক একই নামে ”Daffodils” আরেকটি কবিতা লিখেছেন Ted Hughes
কিন্তু To Daffodils হচ্ছে Robert Herrick এর কবিতা। অপরদিকে
”The Daffodils Fields” হলো John Mansfield এর লেখা একটি নাটক।
6. ”For Whom The Bell Tolls” নামে Earnest Hemingway এর একটি novel আছে।
অন্যদিকে একই নামে অর্থাৎ ”For Whom The Bell Tolls” নামে আরেকটি কবিতা লিখেছেন John Donne .
** John Donne বলা হয় metaphysical poetry জনক। তাঁর রচিত “The Good Morrow” একটি বিখ্যাত metaphysical poem.
7. "The patriot" হচ্ছে Robert Browning রচিত কবিতা কিন্তু "Patriotism" হচ্ছে Sir Walter Scott রচিত আরেকটি কবিতা।
8. "A Tale of Two Cities" হচ্ছে Charles Dickens রচিত Novel
এবং "A Tale of a Tub" (satire) এর রচয়িতা হলেন Jonathan Swift.
9. "Candida" হচ্ছে G.B. Shaw রচিত play আবার একই নামে
"Candida" satire লিখেছেন Voltaire.
10 . Prometheus হচ্ছে Lord Byron রচিত poem
Prometheus bound হচ্ছে Aeschylus রচিত play
এবং Prometheus unbound হচ্ছে P.B Shelly রচিত Lyrical drama.
11. The Light House হচ্ছে Edgar Allan Poe এর novel
To The Light House হচ্ছে Virgina Woolf রচিত novel
A Doll's House হচ্ছে Henrik Ibsen রচিত Social drama.
12. "A Midsummer Nights Dream" হচ্ছে Shakespeare এর comedy.
অপরদিকে "Midnight's Children" হচ্ছে Salman Rushdie রচিত Novel.
13. "The age of innocence" Edith Wharton রচিত novel.
এবং Songs of innocence and experience হচ্ছে Selection of Poem... poet হচ্ছেন William Blake.
** William Blake একজন poet and painter.
14.The Silent Woman হচ্ছে Ben Jonson রচিত Play-comedy.
এবংWomen in Love(Novel) এর রচয়িতা হলেন D.H.Lawrence.
15.Heaven And Earth হচ্ছে Lord Byron রচিত poem.
এবং The Marriage of Heaven and Hell এর রচয়িতা হলেন William Blake.
16."Under the Greenwood Tree " নামে কবিতা লিখেছেন কবি William Shakespeare অপরদিকে একই নামে মানে "Under the Greenwood Tree " নামে উপন্যাস লিখেছেন Thomas Hardy.
