Hanged এবং Hung এর পার্থক্য:
Hang verb এর ব্যবহার প্রায়শই পরীক্ষায় আসে।
★ Hang (ঝুলানো)→hung → hung
★ hang (ফাঁসি দেওয়া) → hanged →hanged.
অর্থাৎ, hang এর অর্থ "ঝুলানো বা ফাঁসি দেওয়া " দুইটাই হতে পারে।কিন্তু এই দুই অর্থে এদের Past এবং Past Participle আলাদা আলাদা হয়ে থাকে।
🚫 Incorrect: There are two pictures hanged on the wall.
☑️Correct:There are two pictures hung on the wall.(দেয়ালে ২ টা ছবি টাঙানো আছে।)
🚫 Incorrect: A heavy gold necklace hanged around her neck.
☑️Correct: A heavy gold necklace hung around her neck.
🚫 Incorrect:The principal desired the notice to be hanged.
☑️correct:The principal desired the notice to be hung.
🚫 Incorrect: The man was hung for murder.
Correct:The man was hanged for murder.
🚫 Incorrect: I wanted the poster to be hanged.
☑️Correct: I wanted the poster to be hung.
🚫 Incorrect: He was found guilty and hung later that year.
☑️Correct: He was found guilty and hanged later that year.
