WE LIVE IN DEEDS NOT IN YEARS

Man has no escape from the cruel clutches of death. But it matters little because life is not measured by months or years but by his noble deeds and actions. A long life with an empty record is of little consequence and significance. Those who live a long life without doing something beneficial to humanity are forgotten after their death. They are not held in due respect. No tombstone is erected on their grave. They die unsung and unhonoured. On the other hand the people who live a short life but render great services to humanity are honoured for ever by all. Those who sacrifice their lives for the good of the whole world are remembered to the end though they do not live in the midst of living men. So long the universe continues, so long the air blows, their memory is over fresh and ever green and will remain ever fresh. So it is clear that man does not live in years but in good deeds that he does for the benefit of mankind.
