Antonyms: delight, pleasure, happiness, enjoyment,
refreshment, gratification.
- He is suffering from a terrible mental
anguish.
- Babies take great delight in watching ad
films.

Paradox - It is a paradox that such a rich man should be
unhappy.

Synonyms: mystery, absurdity, contradiction, enigma.
Antonyms: axiom, truism, precept, proposition, postulate
- There are many contradictions in your essay.
- This essay is full of axioms.

Pardon - Please pardon my rudeness.

Synonyms: forgive, excuse, condone, acquit, overlook,
exempt.
Antonyms: condemn, convict, accuse, punish, penalize
bind, revenge.
- Only the chairman can condone the fine.
- They were penalized for wasting time.
