[N.B. “Good night” is the farewell greeting and “Good evening” is the meeting
Greetings.]

Cor: All my books are lost.

Inc: Shaw is greater than all dramatists.
Cor: Shaw is greater than all other dramatists.

Inc: He said me a humorist.
Cor: He called me a humorist.

Inc: He was hung for murder.
Cor: He was hanged for murder.

Inc: The man hanged his shirt on the wall.
Cor: The man hung his shirt on the wall.

Inc: He is a most perfect judge.
Cor: He is a perfect judge

Inc: You should try your heart and soul.
Cor: You should try heart and soul.

Inc: Whole Bangladesh mourned his death.
Cor: All Bangladesh mourned his death.

Inc: He is one of our family members.
Cor: He is one of the members of our family.

Inc: His English knowledge is good.
Cor: His knowledge in English is good.
Or, His knowledge of English in good.

Inc: No news mean good news.
Cor: No news means good news.

Inc: I knew him an honest man.
Cor: I knew him to be an honest man.

Inc: Recommend for me to the principal.
Cor: Recommend me to the principal.

Inc: This is the wisest plan of the two.
Cor: This is the wiser plan of the two.

Inc: I shook his hands.
Cor: I shook hands with him
Or, I shook him by the hand.
