MAN IS BORN FREE BUT EVERYWHERE HE IS CHAINED

When a man is born, he is quite free. He is free from all sorts of bondages. He enjoys absolute freedom. The more he grows in years, the more does he find himself in chains. In his intancy, he can not support himself. So he depends on his mother. When he grows up, he can not do whatever he likes. He is to respect others right. He is to maintain the law and order of the socie His movements are restricted. In his youth he is very restless. He wants to spend much of his time in games and sports. He wants to pass this golden period of time in merriment. But he can not do so. He is to attend schools or colleges. He has to concentrate his mind to studies. After successful completion of his studies, he is on the look out for a good job. There he faces the hard realities of life. He shoulders the responsibility of maintaining his own family. He looks after his old parents grappling with death. In matters of religion he lives in harmony with others. After all these, man hankers after a life of ease, comfort and freedom. But the cruel reality does not allow him to lead a life free from all social chains. So it can be said that man comes to this earth freely but after his birth he is chained everywhere.
