A PICNIC

A picnic is a meal eaten out of doors. A beautiful place full of natural beauties or a historical place is chosen as the picnic spot. On the fixed day the members of the picnic party starts towards the picnic spot as early as possible. They take all necessary things with them. After reaching the spot, the breakfast is distributed. After breakfast some become busy in cooking the lunch and some do other works. When the cooking of lunch is finished all sit together to eat and take with their heart content. The lunch being over, all begin to enjoy themselves. Some gossip, some play indoor games, and some sing and dance. Thus a day comes to an end through joy, pleasure and merriment. To have a nice meal is not the main purpose of a picnic. Our life is full of cares and anxieties. We have no time to enjoy life. It is a picnic which affords us for the time being to enjoy life. It helps us to froget the hard realitics of life. It removes the monotony of our routined life. So a picnic is of great importance to us.
