3. The coffee was made. The frying pan too was ready to cook the
chops.

Ans: Not only the coffee was made but also the frying pan was ready to
cook the chops.


4. My ankles were weak. I was slow in learning to walk.

Ans: Not only my ankles were weak but also I was slow in learning to
walk.


5. My friend who always gets good marks in the examination is
intelligent. He is hard-working as well.

Ans: My friend who always gets good marks in the examination is not only intelligent but also hard working.
