Having played many games during the last ten years, I think football is the best of all. I tried cricket, but to me it was dull. It does not arouse in me the interest that football does. It is too much time consuming. I think, as it takes a whole day to complete a match, students should avoid playing it. Moreover, it is expensive too.
I also tried badminton. It is so easy, that it is more a pastime than a game. Lawn tennis is a good game but it is very expensive. Moreover, these two games do not help much in fully developing all muscles of young boys.not dugu gastos a qu
I also tried other Indian games when I used to go to our village. There we often played kabadi or hadudu. They are really interesting and require tact, pluck and nerve. The scuffle that often takes place in that game brings into play all the muscles and strengthen them. Games of these type were played by our forefathers and are still being played by most of the village boys. The greatest advantage of these types of games are that they cost nothing.
But these games are seldom played in our town. As I live in & rather big town, I find pleasure and recreation in playing football.
It is one of the most exciting games because, there is always some action. There is no dull moment in it. All the twenty two players are after a common goal-to score a goal and win the game. It also helps to foster team-spirit, spirit of cooperation, orderly behaviour, tact, skill and a methodical habit. These make a player tough but not necessarily rough. The best feature of the game is that it makes the players run always, The most important thing of this game is that it is not expensive, it can be played any season, anywhere. It is the most exciting game of all and perhaps only on account of this it is played all over the world.
Football is objected to on the ground that accidents frequently takes place in the course of the game. But new regulations have been imposed by different bodies to make it a man-like game to the limit of physical violence. Heavy fouls or unfair tackles and unsportsman like behaviour in and off the field are strongly dealt with. When football is played in a true sportsmanlike spirit, there is no accident. This is why I like the game most.
