1. That indicates a fact
Examples:
I know that he will go. 

2. What focuses on a fact instead of expressing it completely
Examples:
What he did is unknown.

3. Who indicates a person 
Examples:
I know who did it.

4. Whom indicates a person
Examples:
I know whom you called.

5. Whose indicates a possession
Examples:
I have found out whose book you stole.

6. Which indicates a choice
Examples:
Tell me which pen you want.

7. When indicates a time 
Examples:
He told us when he would reach home.

8. Where indicates a place
Examples:
I do not want to tell where I found this book.

9.Why indicates a reason
Examples:
I do not know why he left so early.

10. How indicates a manner
Examples:
He showed us how he solved the problem.

11. How many/ How much indicates a quantity/ an amount
Examples:
Can you tell me how many boys you saw here?
