1. “কারাে বয়স” জানতে How old দ্বারা প্রশ্ন করতে হয়। যেমন-

2. “কারাে পেশা” জানতে What দ্বারা Wh-Question তৈরি করতে হয়। যেমন-
His father is a teacher.

3. “আবহাওয়া” জানতে What ---- the weather like দ্বারা Wh-Question তৈরি করতে হয়। যেমন-
It is very hot today.

4. “ঘড়ির সময় জানতে What time দ্বারা Wh-Question তৈরি করতে হয়। যেমন-
It is fifteen minutes past ten.

5. “কতটুকু সময় জানতে How much time দ্বারা Wh-Question তৈরি করতে হয়। যেমন-
It takes me two hours to get to Dhaka.

6. “কতবার জানতে How many times বা How often দ্বারা Wh-Question তৈরি করতে হয়। যেমন-
I take my meals twice a day.

I go there every Friday.

7. ‘দূরত্ব জানতে How far দ্বারা Question তৈরি করতে হয়। যেমন-
Dhaka is 200 km from Chowgacha.
- How far is Dhaka from Chowgacha?
The market is five minutes walk from our house.

৪. “কোনাে ঘটনা সংঘটনের সময় জানতে When দ্বারা Question তৈরি করতে হয়। যেমন-
I walk every morning.

9. “কারাে আয়-ব্যয়, কোনাে কিছুর মূল্য” জানতে How much দ্বারা Question তৈরি করতে হয়। যেমন-
He earns taka ten thousand a month.
- How much does he earn a month?
কিন্তু dollar-এর ক্ষেত্রে How many দ্বারা Question তৈরি করতে হয়। যেমন-
He gave me two hundred dollars.
- How many dollars did he give you?
10. “কোনাে ব্যক্তি কোন শ্রেণিতে পড়ে” জানতে What class read in দ্বারা Question তৈরি করতে হয়। যেমন-
Shamima is in class six.
- What class does Shamima read in?
Ripa reads in BA first year.

11. “কোনাে ব্যক্তির চলমান কাজ” জানতে What --- doing দ্বারা Question তৈরি করতে হয়। যেমন-
She is dancing.

12. “কোন কাজ কেমনভাবে করা হয় বা হয়েছে জানতে How দ্বারা Question তৈরি করতে হয়। যেমন-
I go to college by bus.

13. “কোনাে কিছুর কারণ জানতে Why দ্বারা Question তৈরি করতে হয়। যেমন-
I do not eat meat to avoid taking fat.
- Why do you not eat meat?
14. “কারাে সুস্থতা বা অসুস্থতা” জানতে How দ্বারা Question তৈরি করতে হয়। যেমন-
I am fine.
- How are you?
He is about to die.

15. “ঘটনা সংঘটনের স্থান জানতে Where দ্বারা Question তৈরি করতে হয়। যেমন-
I am in Dhaka this week.

16, “নির্দিষ্টতা” জানতে Which দ্বারা Question তৈরি করতে হয়। যেমন-
The Dhaka Mail is late today.
- Which mail is late today?
17. “কোনাে কিছুর সংখ্যা জানতে How many দ্বারা Question তৈরি করতে হয়। যেমন-
I can eat five mangoes.

18, “কোনাে স্থানকে” জানতে Which place আর কোনাে দেশকে জানতে What country দ্বারা Question তৈরি করতে হয় ।

I have visited Japan and London.

19. “কারাে বা কোনাে কিছু গুণ (adjective)” জানতে What kind of, What type of বা What sort of দ্বারা Question তৈরি
করতে হয়। যেমন-
Our Principal is a large hearted man.

Rahim is kind.
- What kind of man is Rahim?
This is a reliable battery.
- What type of battery is this?
20. “কারাে Possession” জানতে Whose দ্বারা Question তৈরি করতে হয়। যেমন-
I borrowed Rahim's books.

21. “কারো চেহারা কেমন" জানতে What --- look like দ্বারা Question তৈরি করতে হয়। যেমন-
Amena is beautiful.
- What does Amena look like?
Doli looks like a film star.
- What does Doli look like?
22. কোন Sentence-এর মধ্যে First Person (I, me, my, we, us, our) থাকলে Wh-Question-এ First Person-এর পরিবর্তে Second Person (you, your) ব্যবহার করা হয়। যেমন-
I am 57.
- How old are you?
ব্যতিক্রম : তবে We দ্বারা যদি মানবজাতিকে বােঝায় তাহলে তার পরিবর্তন করা যাবে না। যেমন-
We have come here in this world to accomplish certain missions.
