Tense Chart
A Tense Chart is actually the tabular representation of the types of Tenses (with examples, structures, etc.).
A Tense Chart shows all the 3 main kinds of Tenses including their 12 sub-categories with common examples for better understanding and for visualization purposes. A Tense Chart can also show the structure of all the tenses.
Past, Present and Future tenses with simple examples (including 12 sub-categories) are shown below:

Four Forms of Present Tense:

Indefinite: I do. Continuous: I am doing.
Perfect: I have done.
Perfect Continuous: I have been doing.
Four Forms of Past Tense:

Indefinite: I did. Continuous: I was doing.
Perfect: I had done.

Here a chart of tenses is given in the form of a table for a better understanding of tenses.
Now, do the following exercise based on different tenses.
Exercise 1
Complete the sentences using the right forms of the verbs in the brackets. Use the simple present/present continuous - whichever is suiatble.
1. Every Monday, Manzu (drive) his kids to the playground.
2. Usually, I (work) as a secretary at a private company, but this summer I (study) French at a language school in Paris. That is why I am in Paris.
3. Shhhhh! Be quiet! The baby (sleep).
4. Don't forget to take your umbrella. It (rain).
5. I don't like living in Sylhet because it (rain, always).
6. I'm sorry I can't hear what you (say) because everybody (talk) so loudly.
7. Jesminn (write, currently) a book about her tour in Tibet. I hope she can find a good publisher when she is finished.

Exercise 2
Complete the sentences using the right forms of the verbs in the brackets. LUise the Simple Past / Past Continuous whichever is suitable.

Exercise 3
Complete the sentences in the following extract using the right forms of the verbs in the brackets. Use the future perfect / future perfect continuous whichever is suitable.
1. By the time we get to Chittagong this evening. we (drive) more than two hundred miles. We are going to be exhausted.
2. When Sarah goes on vacation next month, she (study) German for over two years. She should be able to communicate fairly well while she is in Austria.
3. I have not travelled much yet; however, I (visit) The Taj and the Golden Temple by the time I leave India.
4. By the time you finish studying the verb tense tutorial, you (master) all twelve tenses including their passive forms.
