1. Future Indefinite Tense
a. Future Indefinite Tense denotes an action that will take place in future.
Examples:
(a) We shall go there.
(b) He will do it.
b. Newspapers and broadcasts:
The fog will hold tomorrow.
The President will open the readers' forum tomorrow.
c. In the subordinate clause of conditional sentence.
- If you go there, you will not be happy.
2. Future Continuous Tense
a. Future Continuous Tense denotes an action that will be going on in future.
Examples:
(a) I shall be playing in the field.
(b) He will be sleeping at that time.
b. In a preplanned scheme:
I will be working for 4 hours everyday in the next month.
3. Future Perfect Tense
Future Perfect Tense denotes an action that will be completed at some
point of time in future :
Examples:
(a) I shall have returned home by this time.
(b) He will have completed the work before the sun sets.
Note: Future Perfect Tense is expressed by the words by, by then, by that time, etc.
By the end of this month we will have been in London for 10 years.
4. Future Perfect Continuous Tense
Future Perfect Continuous Tense denotes an action that will continue for
a period of time.
Examples :
(a) He will have been playing for an hour before the sun sets.
(b) Neela will have been sleeping for three hours.
(c) I will have been reading before you come ( or you will come ).
[ Note: Future Perfect Continuous Tense is no longer in practical use ]
