Tell, Say, Lie, Lay and Word Order of Adjective

Let's see the differences among transitive and intransitive verbs with their forms.

Lie and Lay

Lay - laid - laid ( transitive verb)
but lie - lay - lain ( intransitive verbs)

Sentences :
The postman lays the mail on the table everyday .
The postman laid the mail on the table yesterday.

But in case of intransitive verb,
Sentences :
Rani lies on the sofa to feel relaxed.
Rani lay on the sofa to feel relaxed.

Tell and Say
Normally 'tell' takes object after it but 'say' does not . As we see -
Father tells us how to make it.
Father told us how to make it.

But,
Father says that we should follow this way.
Father said that we should follow this way.

অনেকেই জানেন না : word order of adjective
আমরা যখন একটা noun এর সামনে একের অধিক adjective বসাই সেসব adjective বসানোর নিয়ম আছে অর্থাৎ word order of adjective এর কথা বলছি আমি, তাহলে শুনুন - "Opinion - dimension - age - shape - colour -origin -material " এই সিরিআল মেনে adjective বসবে
যেমন - 'an old wonderful Italian clock' না হয়ে হবে 'a wonderful old Italian clock'. ( সিরিআল টা দেখুন, opinion -age - origin ). Again ' a pink plastic disgusting ornament' will be incorrect but (না হয়ে হবে) 'a disgusting pink plastic ornament'. ( opinion - colour - material) will be correct .

Order গুলো সম্পর্কে আরো একটু আলোচনা
1. Opinion Example : a boring lecture 2. Dimension Example : a big apple 3. Age Example : a new car, a modern building 4. Shape Example : a square box 5. Colour Example : a black coat 6. Origin Example : Italian shoes, America car 7. Material Example : wooden box, plastic toy.
এবার আপনার পালা
(now it turns to you ... solve it please)
A square big blue box. (correct it)
