Zero Preposition

No Preposition is used after the words discuss, approach, finish, obey, permit, reach, resemble, include, fancy, etc. as usual. 

Incorrect: Arian discussed about the matter.
Correct: Arian discussed the matter.

Incorrect: Kamal ordered for a glass of water.
Correct: Kamal ordered a glass of water. 

Incorrect: They reached at the station
Correct: They reached the station.

Incorrect: Karim resembles to his father.
Correct: Karim resembles his father.

Incorrect: They met with me yesterday.
Correct: They met me yesterday.

Incorrect: This violates against the rule.
Correct: This violates the rule. 

Incorrect: Arian contradicted against my opinion.
Correct: Arian contradicted my opinion. 

Incorrect: The police investigated into the matter.
Correct: The police investigated the matter.

Incorrect: I emphasize of the matter.
Correct: I emphasize the matter.

Incorrect: I shall inform to your father.
Correct: I shall inform your father.

Incorrect: I don't fancy about going out tonight. 
Correct: I don't fancy going out tonight.
